Do you accept Afterpay?

Yes! Customers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand can purchase using Afterpay.

When you use Afterpay, you pay for your items in 4 instalments over 6 weeks, without incurring any interest. To use Afterpay, add items to your shopping cart then select Afterpay from the available payment options. You pay for the first instalment of 25% at the time of purchase, and the remaining three instalments will be automatically deducted from your nominated debit or credit card over the following six weeks.

How safe is the Lung T-500 / Lung T-1000?

Although our products are designed for shallow water exploration there are inherent risks with ALL water activities. However, abiding by the Safety
Guidelines can help to minimize those risks and ensure a safer experience.

Before using any Lung products it is essential that you have read and understand all of the Safety Guidelines and User Manual.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes! We have a 12 month warranty on our products. You can find more information in the User Manual & Safety Guidelines.

How do I know how much air is left?

The Lung T-500 / Lung T-1000 have integrated pressure gauges which allows you to easily check the air pressure while in use.

What kind of air is in the cylinder?

The cylinder contains compressed air, which is the same air as the ambient air that everyone breathes. It is triple filtered and is also the same air that is contained in conventional diving cylinders.

What depth can the Lung T-500 / Lung T-1000 operate at?

For user safety, exceeding a maximum diving depth of 3 meters with the Lung T-500 / Lung T-1000 is prohibited.

What happens if I descend below 3 meters deep?

This limit is set solely to reduce the risks to users, nothing will prevent you from descending further. It is the users responsibility to ensure that they do not exceed these limits. Even at depth of 1 meter there are risks to the user so safety instructions must be followed.

The Lung T-500 / Lung T-1000 comply with the US, EU and other international standards for diving equipment. This is to meet the demands placed on it at depth and under high breathing loads. This involved testing the device at a breathing rate of 62.5 l min-1, submerged in water at a pressure of 6 BAR absolute (equivalent to a depth of 50 meters). However, the use of the Lung T-500 / Lung T-1000 beyond a depth of 3 meters is prohibited.

How long does it take to refill?

To refill the Lung T-500 the Lung Hand Pump:

- Around 15-20 minutes of pumping.

You must refill the cylinder in 5 minute sessions and let the pump cool down for at least 2 minutes between intervals.

Some users refill in more time while others refill in less. However, these averages are in place as an estimation.

To refill the Lung T-500 / T-1000 with the Lung Turbocharger:

- Around 10 minutes for the Lung T-500.
- Around 20 minutes for the Lung T-1000.

Can I use my own pump / compressor?

The Lung T-500 / Lung T-1000 are only compatible with Lung refilling methods. Our Lung Hand Pump and Lung Turbocharger have built in air and oil filters to ensure the air is clean and safe.

What age can the Lung T-500 / Lung T-1000 be used at?

18+

All users must ensure they have read and fully understand the Safety Guidelines and User Manual.

Can I fly with the Lung T-500 / T-1000?

Yes. When transporting the Lung T-500 / Lung T-1000 via air, you MUST purge all air from the cylinder and then unscrew the regulator. You will also need to declare that the cylinder is empty and open. Visual and Hydrostatic tests should be completed before use. After using any Lung products, allow a 24-hour window before flying.
